Welcome to Heart 2 Heart Humane Society! - Website still in Progress!

We are a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to creating a compassionate community for animals in Charlton County, GA. Since 2024, our grassroots efforts have provided critical care and new beginnings for hundreds of animals through our TNVR program, community food bank, and a network of committed volunteers. Every wagging tail and happy purr tells a story of hope—and it’s a story you can be a part of. Together, we can make a lasting difference!

Our Mission

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Charlton County. By providing community-based support through programs like TNVR, operating an animal food bank, and promoting responsible pet ownership, we aim to reduce animal suffering and build a more compassionate, informed community. We envision a future where proactive, grassroots efforts create a world with fewer homeless pets and stronger human-animal bonds.

Our Successes So Far!

Food Bank- Over 800lbs redistributed!

Our community food bank helps local families in need keep and care for their beloved pets by providing essential supplies.

TNVR- 250+ and counting!

Through our Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return program, we are humanely managing the local cat population and improving community health.

Helping Animals Find a New Start

Connecting animals with safe and temporary foster homes and assisting residents with rehoming found animals. Even without a facility, we act as a bridge to ensure animals are cared for while they wait for their forever homes.
